About
Pete Tolton is a Montana-based producer and director.
Filmmaking began with a producing role on MAKOSHIKA (2016), an award-winning doc about boom and bust in the badlands of Montana and North Dakota.
His independent directorial debut, RETURN (2023), follows a retired Green Beret and his adult son as they journey back to Vietnam in search of family healing, the roots of trauma, and the mountain tribes who were left behind. Six years in the making, RETURN took Pete to Vietnam for five weeks of production.
He lives with his wife, Rúhíyyih, and their son, Robin, in Billings, Montana.
